LIFE IS HARD was released in November of 2021, while the single was released earlier that year. LIFE IS HARD is JOSHIEPUW’s fourth project, and second EP. This project took almost a full year to make, while the majority of the EP was finished within a week.

PROJECT
LIFE IS HARD is a project dedicated to teachings upon perspectives. The statement “life is hard” is something that’s usually taken negatively, but with a quick change of perspective it can easily be interpreted in this new day of age as something that’s fucking awesome. Life is only what you make it to be, and I hoped to spread as much as I can to show this. The project goes over the past year or so prior to release, upon my confused emotions. It was difficult to overcome and put myself into a different mind set, I struggled. Life wasn’t easy at all, but it was very easy to neglect what really brought out my inner peace. Life is hard, and that’s okay, it makes us who we are.
INFLUENCE
During the recording phases of the EP it was clear to me that this project wasn’t going where I wanted it to. Fuelled by past events and statures it was very hard to have a clear mind. I found myself constantly failing towards everything I did, in and out of my field.
I decided to take this as an influence to change the way I look about life, the reasons I’m here aren’t important, but how I perceive it is important to myself and the people around me.
